You may reach Alibag by bus, car or by boat leaving from Gateway of India. Alibag is about 90 km. from Sion. Traveling time by road varies with the mode of transport, starting point of your journey and time you leave Mumbai. Be advised to leave early morning ahead of traffic.
Pass Sion, Chambur, Vashi, Belapur, Khamote and arrive at Kalamboli circle below the Poona express highway.
Do not climb to the Poona express highway, instead drive to Kalamboli circle below the bridge and take road towards Nava Shiva by-passing Panvel. On this road go straight and at the first T junction take left turn, pay toll of Rs.20/= and join at Panvel junction and proceed on Goa highway NH 17.
If you miss by-pass Panvel at Kalamboli circle, you may proceed toward Panvel city and at the end join Goa Highway NH17.
Once on Goa Highway pass Karla Bird Century, pass Pen and arrive at Wadhkal Naka. At Wadhkal Naka do not take left which leads to Goa but go straight to Alibag. Cross the toll station of Rs.13/= and pass Dharamtal Bridge and follow the road which leads to Alibag.
Yes, further at one point you will reach at Y junction. Do not go on right but go straight driving through a small hillock. Further you will pass RCF Colony on your left side and still further on right side you will see IOC and HP petrol pump. Diagonally opposite the petrol pumps on your left hand side you will see a sign board of Murad Janjira, Roha. This is bypassing Alibag City and at one km drive you arrive at T junction. Take left and proceed and stay on Murud Janjira road. Little further you will hit on another Y junction. Stay on right which is Murud Janjira Road. Pass Akshi, Pass Nangoan and arrive at Choul Naka. At Choul naka (enquire) little further on the left hand side you will not miss Ramesahwar Mandir with “Choul Gram Panchayat” office building in the same compound. On the same side of left enter the galli and follow the tar road at your left hand. At another 50 mtrs on right side you will see the farm “Kumar Wadi”with white compound wall and blue gate. Distance between Rameshwar Mandir to Kumar wadi is not more than 200mtrs
From Gateway of India you may take boat to Mandwa Jetty. The first boat leave at 6.15 am and the last boat from Mandwa leaves at 6.45pm.There are air conditioned and non a/c boats with every half an hour frequency with sailing time of 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on the service. Every boat arriving at Mandwa is attached with there respective bus service and the passengers are dropped at Alibag City. The bus fair is included in the boat ticket amount.
Once you are at Alibag, take three wheeler auto and the same will drop you at the farm bungalow address.
There is another auto service (sitara) which is big in size and carry 6 to 8 person from the main Alibag naka. Take the designated auto going at CHOUL and get off at Rameshwar Mandir at Choul. From Rameshwar Mandir the property is walking distance of just 200 mtrs.
There are State transport bus services leaving from different part of city reaching Alibag. Once in Alibag you may follow the rout by Auto Rick.
Reach Panvel Station by local train. Main S.T Bus stand is at an auto distance of Rs.10/=.from Panvel station. Take ST/Asiad or shuttle service to Alibag which is 1 ½ hour distance. Once at Alibag take the Auto rout.
